An Evening With Francois #2
On August 24th, I hosted my second Dallas influencer event. It took place at Asador restaurant and I'm so excited to share all the details with you guys.
First, let me say how much I love organizing blogger events like this. Looking for a venue, making sure cocktails and light bites are provided, reaching out to Dallas businesses to give away products for the gift bags, managing the guest list and collecting RSVPs... I personally enjoy every step of the way. It's a lot of work, but overall it's so much fun. I spend a lot of time working on making the events happen, but seeing the attendees happy and having fun is very rewarding.
The event took place at @Asador_Restaurant. Located within the Renaissance Hotel in the Dallas Design District and created by Celebrity Chef Dean James Max, the restaurant focuses on sustaining modern farm to fire cuisine. All the bites and appetizers served during the event were absolutely delightful. From pork sliders to brisket tacos, without mentioning the cheese and meat platters, they were all very much appreciated by everyone. The staff were also super friendly and very helpful. I really enjoyed working with everyone to make this event happen. I can't wait to go back for a romantic dinner date with my husband. Did I tell you about the cocktails? We had the Farmers Market Mule, made with Equality Vodka, ginger beer, cucumber, fresh seasonal juice, citrus and sugar cane. It was so delicious that I may have had more than one!
For those who don't know, "An Evening With Francois" are events that aim to gather 20 of Dallas' top lifestyle bloggers and social media influencers in a different Dallas venue each time. During each event, attendees get to meet and connect with other local influencers. As a blogger myself, I truly believe that we are stronger together, and these events are a great way for everyone to build their own influencer network.
For this second event, I decided to invite 10 Dallas influencers who had attended the first event at Reunion Tower and 10 new influencers. It's a way to keep the events interesting, and give a chance for every blogger out there to attend. Unfortunately, there were a couple of last minute cancellations, but we were still enough attendees to have fun.
Make sure to follow these Dallas influencers on Instagram:
